Shirley M. Walling, 54, of 130 School St., Forestdale, died yesterday at the Landmark Medical Center-Woonsocket Unit. She was the wife of Richard N. Walling.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of Dorothy E. (Wilcox) Larcheveque of Forestdale and the late Emile F. Larcheveque.
Mrs. Walling was a member of the Slatersville Congregational Church and the Nature Lovers Camping Club "Good Sam."
Besides her husband and mother she leaves a son, Scott L. Walling of North Smithfield; a daughter, Deborah L. Desrosiers, and a sister, Barbara Hoppe, both of Forestdale, and two grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Slatersville Congregational Church on the Common, Slatersville. Burial will be in Slatersville Cemetery.
