Her obituary or death notice: "The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Humphrey are invited to attend the funeral of Mrs. Humphrey from the residence No. 1819 1-2 Montgomery Street. This (Sunday) afternoon at 3 o'clock, interment Isle of Hope Cemetery." Savannah Morning News Dec 8, 1935 pg 2 col 1."
May 8, 2012, from Debi Harbuck. Today I finally heard from the church historian at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church. She tells me they have "a hand-drawn plat of the cemetery as it was in early days. On the drawing there is a lot that says " Issued to Mr. & Mrs. W. W. Humphrey July 13th, 1913."
