Brenda Kay Hurst was born March 22, 1955 in Hamilton, Ohio and went home to her Savior March 31, 2012 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, being 57 years of age. She was the daughter of Pauline (Lainhart) Hurst of Tyner and of the late Riley Hurst.
In addition to her mother, Brenda is also survived by her only daughter, Amanda Nicole Hurst Garland; son-in-law, Joey Garland both of Gray Hawk and by her life long love, Jimmy Flannery of Annville. Other survivors include her siblings, Myrtle York & husband John of Annville; Mary Lou Hurst of McKee; Doug Hurst & wife Lisa of Tyner; Earl J. Hurst & wife Linda of Tyner and Michelle Parrett & husband Keith of Annville and by four step children, Mike Flannery & wife Sheila of Lancaster; Eddie Flannery and Jeff Flannery both of Lexington and Jimmy Ray Flannery & wife Rachael of London. Brenda was blessed with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, including two special grandsons, Daniel & Aaron and one very special granddaughter, Maddie.
Brenda was a born again believer in Jesus Christ.
Funeral service was held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Everett Van Zant and Bro. Scott Witt officiating. Burial followed in the Flannery Cemetery.
