Mrs. Sarah Ann wood Green, 84, died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Grace Droubay, of causes incident to age.
She was born in England May 1, 1860, a daughter of Joel and Margaret Bailey Wood, and came to the United States in 1865. Crossing the plains as a pioneer, she made her first home in Cottonwood and March 8, 1883 was married to Moses K. Green. Mr. Green died in 1924. Later, she lived in Vernon, Tooele County, for a number of years and moved to Salt Lake City in 1930. An active LDS Relief Society worker, she had been a member of Twenty-fifth ward many years.
She is survived by her daughter; a brother, Seth E. Littleford, Lehi; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Tooele City cemetery.
