Charlene Davidson, 73, of Graysville, TN passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at a local hospital.
She was of the Church of God Faith. She loved her grandchildren dearly, her dogs, and watching westerns on TV.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Mahaffey Sr.; daughter, Betty Ann; parents, Charlie and Effie Gipson.
She is survived by her sons, Willie Mahaffey Jr., Bobby Mahaffey Sr., James Mahaffey; daughter, Effie Cross; brother, James D. Gibson; sisters, Shirley Green, Loretta Songer; grandchildren, Travis Mahaffey, Bobby Mahaffey Jr., Ruby Kilgore, Robin Mitchell, Stacy Bishop, Robert Cross, Timothy Cross; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow the service at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN.
