BROWNSVILLE - Dean Jaggers Sanders, 70, of Mammoth Cave died at 12:40 a.m. May 9, 2004, at her home.
The Edmonson County native was a housewife and member of Fairdale United Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Roscoe Jaggers and Donna Minton Jaggers. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Shawn Michael Sanders.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stockholm United Baptist Church, with burial in Union Light Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today; from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday; and from 9 am. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Daymon Sanders; two sons, Steve Sanders and his wife, Alice, and Gary Sanders and his wife, Lynn, all of Mammoth Cave; a daughter, Sandra Childress and her husband, Bill, of Mammoth Cave; a brother, Lawrence Jaggers of Louisville; two sisters, Alma Brooks and Alvis Brooks, both of Louisville; and seven grandchildren.
