Friends here have received word of the death of George DeLap of Shennington, Monroe County who prior to two years ago had been a resident of this city for 20 years, which occurred at St. Michael's hospital at Stevens Point Friday afternoon at 3:20 o'clock. He had been ill for two weeks and entered the hospital a week ago Monday.

Mr. Delap was born July 0, 1866, at New Lisbon. At the age of 17 he entered the printing business and has followed that trade all his life. Prior to two years ago he had been employed by The Wisconsin Rapids Tribune for 20 years.

His marriage took place January 16, 1903, at Wausau after which he lived at Marshfield for 9 years, then coming to this city.

Surviving are his wife, one son, Ellsworth of Shennington, a daughter, Mrs. Mervin Fulton of Steven Point, three brothers, Frank of Shennington, William of New Lisbon, Charles of Medofrd and a sister, Mrs. Edan Luckson of Nebraska.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at New Lisbon.
