He was born Nov. 7, 1914 in Hunt County to Mr. and Mrs. William Clinton. He was a farmer and rancher. He married LaNeta Sartin on Feb. 1, 1938 in Lane.
Survivors are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Gladys Clinton of Leonard; a son, Ronnie Clinton of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Brinlee of Allen; four brothers, John L. Clinton of Lubbock, Jimmy Clinton and Artie Clinton of Dallas and Kenneth Clinton of Alexandria, La.; and a grandchild.
