Funeral services for August Leus, 92, of Needville, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville. Rev. Richard Avery will officiate. Burial will be at the Needville Public Cemetery.
Mr. Leus was born in Needville June 7, 1898. He was a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. He died Monday, July 9, at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
Mr. Leus is preceded in death by three brothers, Emil, Eric, and Ewald Leus, and by a sister, Lena Schmidt
Survivors include his wife, Vlasta Hurta Leus of Needville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Needville which are in charge of the arrangements.
