"IN MEMORIAN. -- Died in Fulton, Mo. Tuesday A.M. Nov. 22, 1904. Phny Lovercheck, age 20 yrs, 9 months.
The deceased was suffering from a mental derangement, supposed to have been caused from being sand bagged and robbed near Delra La. where he was employed on the government works.
When on his way to Fulton, he was placed in charge of the Sheriff at Jefferson City, who was to come for him during the night. But during the night he approached a gas jet and his clothing caught fire inflicting serious burns. He was taken to Fulton where he lived but a short time.
His remains were interred in the Gerald Presbyterian Cemetery Thursday evening.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the bereaved mother, brother and sister."
