Mrs. Nellie O. Ouzts, 88, widow of Charlie T. Ouzts died Sunday at Self Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Brantley and Fannie Ouzts. She was a lifelong resident of Greenwood and a charter member of Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Baker {Lois} Hawkins and Mrs. Marion {Naomi} Wells, both of Greenwood; Mrs. L. M. {Mary} Corley of Saluda; Mrs. Walton {Dorothy} Bryant of Batesburg and Mrs. Nickey {Janice} Wells of Ninety Six; four sons, Jackie Ouzts of Batesburg; Joseph Ouzts of Greenwood, F. Wayne Ouzts of Norfolk, Va and Philip A. Ouzts of Richmond, Va; three sisters, Ida Heaton of Easley; Minnie Adams of Edgefield and Maude Cooper of Greenwood; and a brother, Horace Ouzts of Greenville; 20 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter.
Services will be 3:30 pm Tuesday at Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Roscoe Bryan, and the Rev. Ansel Boggs officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
The body is at Harley Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 pm Tuesday.
