From the "Springfield [Massachusetts] Republican," 1 May 1920, in part:
....Besides his widow he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor (Wesson) Lincoln, wife of Flynt Lincoln of this city, and two sons, Douglas B. and Victor Hawes Wesson, both members of the Smith & Wesson company.
His brother Frank L. Wesson, was killed in a railroad accident in Vermont many years ago.
Daniel B. Wesson took his three sons into the great business which he had developed. Of the three, only Walter H. Wesson, who is much of an invalid, is left.
Mr. Wesson also leaves a sister, Mrs. S. J. Bull, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank L. Wesson, and eight grandchildren....
