Mr. WIllis G Tallman, 68, died at local hospital Sunday morning of injuries resulting from a fall received several days ago. Mr. and Mrs. Tallman moved to Orlando one year ago from Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Tallman was with the Great Western Insurance Co. for over 30 years and was president of the company for many years, retiring from active duties and moving to Florida.
Mr. Tallman was an active member of the Methodist Church since he was a small boy and for many years has filled some office of the church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Right and Shrine and a member of the Orlando Kiwanis Club.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon from the Carey Hand Chapel, the Rev. A. Fred Turner officiating. After the services the body will be placed in the receiving vault and later in the Spring will be taken to Des Moines for other services and interment.
