Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Nellie McNelly, 87, who died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Bloomfield Manor.
The funeral was conducted at the Wagler Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Allen. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield.
She was born July 2, 1884 to Washington and Almira Van Ostrem Hocking. She has been a resident of Davis County for the past 50 years.
She was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church.
In 1924 she married Mahlon McNelly. He preceded her in death in 1936. She is survived by one son, Mahlon McNelly of Des Moines and three grandchildren.
