Andreya Mellinger passed away March 27, 2012, at her home after a battle with cancer. She fought a good fight and is now in God's care.
Andreya was born Dec. 17, 1961 in Millersburg, the daughter of Robert J. and Phyllis L. (Martin) Moore.
Surviving are a sister, Cynthia Wallace of Millersburg; a daughter, Phyllis (Jason) Tharp and grandchildren, Chyann, Corbin, Zanah, November and Zadin; a son, Elmer (Dawn) Jones and grandchildren, Elijah, Luke and Emily; a stepson, Marc (Tammy) Mellinger and their children, Talon, Kenedy, Brody, Cameron and Ashlynn; a stepdaughter, Nichole Hudson and children, Preston and Jace; a niece, Wendy (Bob) Plank and their children, Sawyer, Vinny and Logan; a nephew, Travis Wallace and companion, Traci Pringle and their children, Joey and Alexis; and a nephew, Tyler Wallace. Andreya also had very close friends, Laudea, Lori, Mary and Linda.
Andreya also loved her boxer, Becksley. She will greatly be missed and was always there for anyone who needed her and loved the Lord with all her heart. Her spirituality was her sustenance and her church family was very special and dear to her. She loved to sing for the Lord and be an active part of her church.
Andreya was preceded in death by her father, Robert J. Moore; and a son, Bobby Jones.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice. Your special care and concern for our loved one was amazing and we will always be grateful for your part in her final time, not only for her but for her family. The family requests that any donations be directed to Hospice of Wayne County.
Graveside services will be April 6 in Nashville Cemetery, with the Rev. Kevin Anslow officiating. Memorial services will be at Pentecostal Assembly Fellowship, Millbrook (on state Route 226 between Triway High School and Shreve) with the Rev. Tom McFadden officiating after graveside services.
