A "Homegoing" service for Cassandra "Sandy" E. Mason, 37, of Richmond, is scheduled for noon Saturday, Aug. 21, at Shilo Missionary Baptist Church in Rosenberg. The Rev. E. Lewis will officiate the services. A wake service will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at Gooden Chapel, 1716 Avenue in Rosenberg. Burial will be at Powell Point Cemetery in Kendleton.
Ms. Mason passed away Aug. 15, 1999. She attended Lamar Consolidated Independent School District. She was employed at Richmond State School until her health failed her.
She leaves to cherish her memories, three children, MiMi, Alan, and Jamal; mother, Norma Griffin; great-grandmother, Rosie Wells; grandmother, Jewelene Dilworth; three sisters, Tracy, Yolanda, and Rita; five nieces; and a host of relatives and friends.
