Brian D. Dawson was born April 28, 1970 in San Francisco, California: the son of Gary and Judy (Melka) Dawson. He graduated from High School in Sioux City, Iowa with the class of 1988. Brian was married to Dawn Warnke in 1989, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua; they later divorced.
He was employed with Bossard, Wheelers and most recently at Tyson until his disability. Brian enjoyed boating, fishing, camping and antiques.
Brian passed away at his home suddenly on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the age of 41.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Brian is survived by his mother and step-father Judy and Dale Ohl of Cedar Falls; a son Cody Dawson of Cedar Falls; a daughter Paige Dawson of Winthrop; a sister Jeanette Dawson of East Moline, Illinois; two nieces: Miranda and Chelsea Waterman of East Moline, Illinois and his girlfriend Teresa Lippert of Cedar Falls.
Brian will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
