NAMPA — Services for Lauren Beale Nichols, 35, of 1412 Eleventh Avenue South, Nampa, who was killed in an automobile accident Saturday morning, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jim Bond of the College Church of the Nazarene, assisted by the Rev. Harley Adams, pastor of the Melba Friends Church.

Mr. Nichols was born Nov. 16, 1933, at Nampa where he was reared. He attended College High School and Northwest Nazarene College. He married Mary Alyce Farner July 21, 1953, at Melba. He had been associated with the Texaco Oil Co. for the past 12 years. At the time of his death he was owner operator of Twelfth Avenue Texaco station, Tri-Cities Wholesale Co., and ran bulk operations for the oil firm.

He was a member of the YMCA board of Nampa, the Idaho State Aeronautics Association with a five-year safety award, and the College Church the Nazarene.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Lynn and three daughters, Pamela, Brenda and Linda, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Nichols, Nampa; a brother, Willis, Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Dorine Nichols, Boise; and a half-sister, Mrs. Wyla Barney, Haney, B.C., Canada.

The family suggests contributions to the YMCA, or flowers may be sent.
