Quinter -- Mrs. Anna M. Lang, 74, died Tuesday at the Gove County Hospital in Quinter following a short illness. She was a Quinter resident for the past 30 years and a Gove County resident for 45 years.

Survivors include four sons, Lawrence, Melchoir, and Wilfred, all of Quinter, and LaVerne of Hillsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Phillip Kahler and Mrs. Julius Kinderknecht of Quinter and Mrs. George Goetz of Salina. One brother, Bernard Bittel of Hays; and three sisters, Mrs. Bryan Velie and Mrs. Frank Seib of Hays, Mrs. Pete Weigel of Chicago; and 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

Her husband preceded her in death last February.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael’s Church in Collyer. Fr. Anthony Leiker will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosary services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hendricks Chapel in WaKeeney.
