Carl Wayne, 74, died Sat., March 27, 2004 in Boulder, CO, where he resided since 1972. Carl was born on Aug. 12, 1929 in Wanette, OK, the 5th of 6 children born to Joe Alston and Lucy Carleen (Evans) Stover. Carl was a veteran of the US Army
and a graduate of OKC Univ. He spent most of his business career employed as a geophysicist, by the US Geological Survey, having worked in Rockville, MD & Golden, CO. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Hollis & Ewell Stover. He is survived by his wife, Florence Stover and her son, Lew Harstead of Boulder, CO; son, Gary Stover of Tipp City, OH, son of Carl & Pauline Stack(deceased 1983); brothers: Don Stover & Charles Stover, along with sister, Betty Cottrell, all residents of OKC; 5 Grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held 1:00 PM Thurs, April 1, 2004 at Wanette Cem. in Wanette, OK.
