Electrical Engineer."His first wife was the Klondike heiress and granddaughter of Chief of local Indian tribe, Graphie Grace Carmack. Holder of several patents. Married as his second wife Katherine (Gray) Herzog, owner of the Herzog Electrical & Engineering Co., of which he served as general manager. Mrs. Herzog was shortly afterward institutionalized at Agnews State Hospital. Herzog continued to run the company until his death at 57, although by the end, it had shrunk from a warehouse on the industrial waterfront to an office in the Sharon Building. He was survived by his wife, two sons George and Ernest, and a daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Kyle, all from his first marriage.
