Theodore (Tator) Fritz of 32 Carr St., died at his home last evening. He was a life long resident of Wallingford and worked at the Preisner Silver Company until his retirement five years ago.

He was umpire of the Twilight League at one time and was catcher for the Lenox and Pioneer teams in Wallingford for many years.

Surviving are three sons, Theodore Jr., Harry and James of Wallingford; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Pikor and Mrs. Ruth Slie of Wallingford; one brother, Frank Fritz of Castleton, Colo., one sister, Mrs. Edith Latham, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visiting hours will be at the J. W. Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 209 Center Street, today and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.

Funeral services were held yesterday (Monday) from the J. W. Fitzgerald Funeral Home followed by a solemn high mass at Holy Trinity Church officiated by the Rev. John Shea. The Rev. Gilbert Cannon was deacon and the Rev. William Ladish, sub-deacon.

Burial was in Holy Trinity Cemetery with Father Shea conducting the committal services. The bearers were: Leo Bruton Jr., Theodore Fritz Jr., Kenneth Fritz, Anthony Pikor Jr., David Pikor and Raymond Slie Jr.
