Funeral services were conducted on April 4 at the Thompson-Wilson Funeral chapel with Rev. James Tallant officiating.
McClain was born July 29, 1924 in Lepanto, Ark., the daughter of the late Alma N. and Odella Manley Payne. She was married Feb. 13, 1940 to Ray McClain, who survives. She was a Baptist and the owner and operator of Fannie's Cafe and Star Cafe, both located in Wynne.
In addition to her husband, McClain is survived by three sons, James R. McClain of Placerville, Calif., Michael Steve McClain of Bakersfield, Calif. and Terry McClain of Wynne; one brother, James Payne of Wynne; and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Denny McClain in 1992.
