Walter, or Babe as he was called was the Eleventh and last child of John and Amanda (Webb) Holloway, and the Grandson of William and Mary (Pitman) Webb of Ohio. They would refer to him as (General) in his early life. On November/20/1888, Babe Married Ella Stain, in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County Indiana, but the Marriage did not last long, and there was no children from this Marriage, unknown when they Divorced. Babe's next Marriage was on March/6/1893 to Dora Louisa McGilliard, she was the Daughter of James A. and Sarah C. (Mann) McGilliard. Babe and Dora were Married for seven years when Babe died, and in that seven years they had no children of their own. Babe was a Painter by Trade, and probably worked with his father-in-law who was a carpenter by trade. Babe died of Tuberculosis in his mother's house at the age of 34 years old, in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County Indiana. Babe's father-in-law, James A. McGilliard, must have thought alot of Babe, Because he had Babe buried with him and his family at the Oak Hill (Grant) Cemetery in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County Indiana.
