Actor, Director, Producer, Stuntman. Born Ricardo Metezzeti, Talmadge came to Hollywood in 1910, where he worked as a stunt double for Douglas Fairbanks. Talmadge became a star in the early 1920s, usually appearing in minor comedies and action-dramas. Among his most notable films were "Let's Go!" (1923) "The Night Patrol," (1926) "Now or Never." (1932) Talmadge stopped appearing in films with the advent of sound because of his thick German accent, and began working behind the scenes as an assistant director.
