Actress. Eva Novak started her acting career as one of Mack Sennett's bathing beauties during the silent films of the 1920s. She was the younger sister of actress Jane Novak. Later she appeared opposite William S. Hart and continued doing her own stunt work until 1921 when she married director/stuntman William Reed, with whom she had two daughters: Vivian Barbara and Pamela Eve. With the advent of sound, her popularity faded, finishing her career in Australia with her husband. She returned occasionally but almost unnoticeably in small, highly obscure character parts.
