Ruby G. Bollock St John, 92, died August 21, at Rosewalk Village. She was a former resident of Romney. She was born February 23, 1907 in Randolph Township in Tippecanoe County, was educated at Gladdens Corner School and graduated from Stockwell High School in 1925. She married R. Stanley St. John on June 21, 1931, in Stockwell, at her parents' home in rural Lafayette. He survives and is a resident of Rosewalk Village. Together with her husband, she would take area residents to Indianapolis hospitals, shopping and doctor's appointments. Mrs. St. John was a resident of Lauramie and Randolph townships throughout her life. She was a homemaker and a Gray Lady volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mrs. St. John was a member of Concord Cemetery Association, and attended Conroe United Brethren Church until it closed and later Romney Presbyterian Church. Along with her husband, she is survived by a son, Richard E. St. John of Lafayette; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Richards-Loy & Wheeler Funeral Home handled arrangements with the Rev. Dr. R. Clayton Kendall officiating. Interment Concord Cemetery. Memorials can be made to a charity of choice.
