ABSTRACT: Died at his home, 1138 E. Broadway. Aged 83. He came to Long Beach with his wife from Detroit, Mich., 8 years ago. He joined the Episcopal church when he was young and was affiliated with the Masonic order for 55 years, being a life member of Parish Lodge No. 292 F.& A.M. of Buffalo, N.Y. Survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Hayes; daughter Mrs. Geo. H. Laraway; two grandsons; niece Mrs. Fred Fewings, all of Long Beach; four grandchildren and one great grandson in Detroit; two sisters in Canada.
