Rites Held For W. A. Perkins

Funeral services were held on Thursday in the Bountiful Union Mortuary for Wilson Andrew Perkins, 89, former Bountiful resident.

Mr. Perkins was born on June 11, 1881 in Randolph, Utah a son of Jasper and Lucy Garrett Perkins. He was raised by his foster mother Lucina Call Perkins. He married Cora Kennedy on Dec. 13, 1905 in Ogden. Later, the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died June 18, 1957.

A member of the railroad brotherhood trainmen and High Priest in the Oakland Stake in California.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Carson Perkins of Sacrament, Calif., and five grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Chloe Erskine of Salt lake City; Mrs. Florence P. Barton of Fruit Heights; three brothers, Sherman D. Perkins, of Stockton, Calif.; Anson G. Perkins of Los Altos, Calif.; and Basil A. Perkins of Encino, Calif.
