Funeral services for Casey Gwaltney, age 31, of Mill Shoals, were held Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at 10 a.m., at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield. Family and friends visited together Tuesday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Jack Stone officiated the service. Debbie Stone and Marilyn Appel performed "How Great Thou Art" and "Precious Memories." Mrs. Stone also sang "Go Rest High On That Mountain."
David Agee, Adam Anderson, Greg Zurliene, Ronnie Vaughan, Doug Bone, and Brandon Pool served as pallbearers at Little Zion Cemetery in Mill Shoals TWP. Those who attended gathered at the Springerton American Legion for a funeral luncheon.

Casey Gwaltney, age 31, of Mill Shoals, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born December 24, 1980, in Evansville, IN, the son of Ron and Vickie Dawn (Voeltz) Gwaltney. He was an avid fan of UK Basketball, Nascar, and the Chicago Cubs. He was a member of the Springerton Son's Of The American legion, Burnt Prairie Masonic Lodge, McLeansboro Eagles, McLeansboro Elks Lodge, Fairfield VFW men's Auxilliary, and the Enfield Sportsman's Club.
He is survived by his father, Ron Gwaltney, of Mill Shoals; a sister, Corrie Randolph; a half-sister, Laurie Stokes; three nieces and nephews; an uncle, Vernon Gwaltney; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vickie Gwaltney; grandparents, Everett H. and Oma Gwaltney and Vernon and Betty Voeltz.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at 10:00 am, at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place in Little Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or to Elks Crippled Childrens Fund.
