Carl Theodore Anderson of Sacred Heart, Minnesota, was born January 25, 1908, to parents Knute A. and Emma M. (Erickson) Anderson in Minnesota.

Carl met Caroline Olson at a Luther League Meeting in Lamberton, Minnesota. They were united in marriage June 11, 1932, in Clarkfield, Minnesota

He taught in a rural school near Walnut Grove, Minnesota. A son, Keith, was born in February 1934. Carl left teaching to enter the grain business.

Carl served his country in the Army during WWII, from May 1944 through March 1946.

In 1946 the family moved to Sacred Heart, Minnesota, where Carl managed the local co-op elevator.

After retirement, Carl and Caroline spent several winters in Arizona.

Carl Passed Away Thursday, May 5, 1988, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Carl is survived by his wife, Caroline; son, Keith (and Beverly); grandchildren, Eric, Kristin, Stefan.
