Dwane Lee Ford, 58, of Nampa, died Tuesday, August 30, 1994, at the Nampa hospital. Dwane Lee Ford was born on June 6, 1936, in Cambridge, Idaho, to Jack and Iva Burgess Ford. He was reared and educated in Cambridge. He attended the University of Idaho for one year. He worked on the Brownlee Dam Project for a few years and then in 1960 he began to drive long haul truck for several companies. He married Gladys Miller on July 9, 1966, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Nampa. In 1982 he began his own trucking company called the Best-Way Express. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys of Nampa; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Denny Smith of Caldwell; a son, Loriston Ford of Nampa; three brothers, Walter Ford of Ontario, Earl Ford of Payette and Harold Ford of Middleton; two sisters, Ruby Braun of Cambridge and Wilma Angelford of Monmouth, OR; his mother, Iva Ford of Cambridge; and a grandson, Jake Smith of Caldwell. He was preceded in death by his father.
