S. B. Beal, aged 68 years, died at his home in St. Paul, on Friday, February 27th. The body was brought to Faribault for burial and was taken to Maple Lawn Cemetery, the services being conducted by Rev. Lofstrom. Deceased was a native of New York and was in the employ of l. L. May & co. He is survived by his wife, Emma Merat Beal, and one daughter, Mrs. James Egan, St. Paul, one sister, Mrs. L. A. Hathaway, Faribault. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and a. O. U. W. Lodges and the United Commercial Travelers Association. The services in St. Paul were conducted by the Odd Fellows lodge. Those from out of town to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. James Egan, Mrs. Haas, Mr. and Mrs. Demeraux, and Miss Muiter.
