Eva Green Jones, age 77, died peacefully on February 7, 1990 at her home. Born June 8, 1912 in Tetonia, Idaho to Silas Oscar and Carrie Lebertha Sheppard Green. Moved to Pine Canyon, Utah at age 14. Married Nathan C. Jones on July 9, 1930 in the Logan Temple. She was a wonderful wife and mother and talented homemaker. Active in the LDS Church, served as Primary teacher, Relief Society president and other callings. Loved music. Very talented pianist and singer. Survivors: Husband, Nathan; sons, Nathan D. and wife, Carol; Gary and wife, Marilyn, Philip and wife, Joy; daughters, Julie, Claireneand husband, Francis; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Darrell; sister, Laura. Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Rosie and brothers, William, Alma, Ruie, Lane and Laroy.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 1990 at 11 a.m. in the Tooele 11th - 15th Ward Chapel, 180 South Coleman. Friends may call Tate Mortuary on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior at the Church on Saturday. Interment: Tooele City Cemetery.
