She moved to Salt Lake City in the early 60's. She was previously married to Ted Miller, Marvin Munday, Cal Heyrend and Bill Edwards.
Eileen was a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was very active in church activities throughout her life. She held a current temple recommend although she was unable to attend in her later years.
She was a great cook; music was her passion and she sang with the Sweet Adelines for many years. She played the piano by ear and loved to entertain others. Even with her arthritis, she would continue to play with one hand. She worked in the food industry at the Salt Lake City Airport.

Eileen is survived by niece, Cheryl Stroud, Taylorsville, UT; nephews, Paul Black, Park City, UT; Brent R. Peach, SLC, UT; great nephews, Jeremy Westerman, Jeff (Tiscia) Westerman, Mike Stroud; great niece, Brandi Donovan and several great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Evelyn Black; and niece, Colette Black.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 12 noon at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:45- 11:45 prior to services. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Ogden, Utah.
