Mary "Mayme" Ellen Adams was the daughter and 13th child of James Henry Adams & Mary Catherine Ragle.

Mrs. Guy W. Cooper Is Claimed By Death
Mrs. Guy W. Cooper, 77, of 204 Alt. Avenue, died at 8:30 o'clock this morning in Ephraim McDowell Memorial Hospital after having been ill for several years. Born Dec. 2, 1888 in Sopkane, Wash., she had lived here since 1929. She was the wife of Guy W. Cooper and was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. Other survivors are three sons. James R. Cooper. J. Wellington Cooper and Robert N Cooper, all of Danville: a granddaughter, Mrs. Howard P. Hunt Jr., Danville, whom she had reared; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Riggs, Oliver Springs, Tenn.; Mrs. R. T. Russell, Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs. James McLeod, Beaver, Pa., several other grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Stith Funeral Home by Dr. William Austin Roberts, pastor of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call after 10 a.m. today.
