Helen K. Jensen died November 20, 2002. Helen was a lifelong resident of Fife Heights. She attended the Mission Woods Church, formerly Fife Presbyterian, in Milton. She was born to Vasil and Maria Krutilla on February 2, 1905, in Wilkinson, Washington. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1922, and in 1923, she married Fred Jensen. It is said that Helen's yard was a piece of ground that she turned into a park. She was such an accomplished gardener that she became known as the "Flower Lady". But, to her grandchildren she was the "Cookie Lady". She spent many hours at the Fife Community Senior Center. Her outgoing personality and witty sense of humor will be missed by all who were so blessed to have known her.
