Almon O. Waltz, 86, of North Nobleboro died at Miles Memorial Hospital on June 16th. Mr. Waltz was born in Nobleboro on May 15, 1866, the son of Albert and Lydia Waltz and lived in Nobleboro all his life excepting a short time spent while employed at W.F. Whitney Co. in South Ashburnham, Massachusetts. Mr. Waltz is survived by a sister, Miss Belle Waltz of Nobleboro, a nephew, Arthur Waltz and a niece, Mabel H. Billings, both of Ashburnham, Mass., and four great nephews, five great nieces, three great-great nieces, one great-great-great nephew and one great, great, great niece, all of Ashburnham, Mass. Services were held on June 18th at the Strong Funeral Home with the Rev. Hentley Johnston officiating. Burial was in the Waltz Cemetery in Nobleboro.
