Mrs. Delbert (Dora) Stewart, 81, died Friday night at the Navarro Regional Hospital. Mrs. Stewart was born on August 12, 1910 in Sterling, Oklahoma the daughter of L.J. and Effie Jones Johnson. In 1912 she moved to Ennis with her parents and was a graduate of Ennis High School in 1928. On March 7, 1930 she was married to Delbert Stewart of Garrett. After their marriage they made their home in Ennis where Mr. Stewart worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad. Mr. Stewart preceded her in death on June 20, 1980. Mrs. Stewart was employed by the Twin Shop for several years before going to work for H&H Hardward. Mrs. Stewart was a member of the Church of Christ in Ennis. Mrs. Stewart is survived by two sons, Jack Stewart of San Antonio and Michael Stewart of Garland; six grandchildren and two great grand-children. Funeral services for Mrs. Delbert (Dora) Stewart were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Keever Chapel with John L. Sullivan and Harry Lee Groves officiating. Interment was in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary with the following serving as pallbearers: Jeff Stewart of Abilene, Jay Stewart of San Antonio, Todd Stewart of Garland, Jeff Dowdy of San Antonio, Herman Mounts of Ennis and Marvin Roden of Garland.
