Age 36 years 10 months, Harold died after being in a motorcycle accident that fractured his skull. He died 3 hours later at Fred Roberts Hospital, in Corpus Christi, Texas. His body was shipped back to Illnois, near his wives home town to be buried.
Harold was born Harold Joseph Pudwill, but his wife changed the spelling of his last name to Pudwell.
Harold was the youngest child of Katherina Pritzkau Pudwill and Paul J Pudwill Sr. and married Eleanor Shipper-Pudwell on Nov 7 1930 in Cook County, Illnois.
Together they had two son's LeRoy and James Pudwell.
