OWINGSVILLE, Oct. 9 - Miss Minerva Thompson, 58, died at 7 a.m. today at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Clara Thompson, after a long illness. She was a native of Rowan County. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Omer Copher, Bath County, and Mrs. R. D. Reynolds, Morehead; three brothers, Carl Thompson, Salt Lick, Elgin Thompson, Laurel, Indiana, and Willie Thompson, Newcastle, Indiana.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Richardson Funeral Home by the Rev. Claude L. Goodpaster. Burial will be in the Slaty Point Cemetery. Bearers will be nephews.The body is at the funeral home.
