Mr. Patrick was a native of Washington County, N.C. He was a member of Painters Union Local 1100. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Helen L. Patrick; two daughters, Elaine Patrick of Norfolk and Jeanette Moccaldi of Port Richey, Fla.; a son, Mark Patrick of Norfolk; a sister, Sadie Haislip of Washington, N.C.; and two brothers, Jessie L. Patrick of North Carolina and Edison W. Patrick of Burbank, Calif.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Jan Oberdick. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
