Note: After her father's death, Cornelia lived with her uncle, Andrew J. Laning, in Lambertville, Hunterdon Co., NJ. While the 1880 Census lists her as Andrew's daughter, she was actually his niece. The 1860 Census, her marriage certificate, and her death certificate all show that she was the daughter of William H. and Eliza (Kelly) Laning.
