A noted maker of Harpsichords.

He had been a foreman in the ship-building yard of Matthew Cardiff. He left in 1797 to become a full-time manufacturer of harpsichords.
He is reputed to have been a friend of the Emmets and Sarah Curran.

Note.
The inscription on the headstone records his age as "17 years".
Several other headstones in the cemetery similarly appear to transpose the figures of age.
It is presumed that he was actually 71 years old.
