CATHERINE LUCILE "Kate" OUTCALT, nee Brown, 63, of Lancaster, Ohio died early Friday, August 5, 1977 in University Hospital, Columbus after a nine month battle with cancer. She was a current member of First United Methodist Church and previous member of Pleasantville United Methodist Church. She was greatly loved and will be missed by her husband, Franklin E. Outcalt (Chaunce), Son, J. Mikal (Rae Ellen) Outcalt, of Columbus, and grandchildren, Andrew, David and Shari; son, Frederick E. (Marguerite) Outcalt of Bradford, PA and grandchildren, Michelle, Kelly and Kristy, son Steven S. Outcalt, of Lancaster; and daughter, Linda K. (Mick) Fields, of Pleasantville and grandchildren, Melissa and Susan; three brothers, Robert (Lois) Brown, of Florida, Howard (Laura) Brown and Noel Brown of Baltimore, Ohio; nieces and nephews.
Kate was an extremely loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved
taking care of her family, gardening, golfing and visiting her grandchildren. She was an artist (painter) who had won several blue ribbons at the Fairfield County Fair and had won an Ohio Baking Contest in her early years before really perfecting her cooking. respectfully submitted by her daughter Linda (Fields) Outcalt.
