Evalyn M. Pendleton, age 61 years of St. Louis, Mo., passed away Friday, August 9 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Mrs. Pendleton was born May 28, 1913 in Maries County in Missouri, the daughter of George W. and Louella (Rothwell) Renfrow. She was united in marriage in 1933 to Freeman Pendleton, who survives of the home. Mrs. Pendleton was a member of the Overland Church of Christ in St. Louis, Mo.
Preceding her in death were her father, George Renfrow in 1946; her mother, Louella Renfrow in 1950 and two sisters, Della Renfrow and Mrs. Alma Kinworthy.

Surviving, other than her husband, Freeman, are two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Martin and Miss Rebecca Pendleton, both of St. Louis, Mo.; three sons, Donald and Robert Pendleton both of St. Louis, Mo and Gary Pendleton of Kansas City, Mo.; five sisters, Mrs. Mae Humphrey and Mrs. Iris Rowden both of Iberia, Mo., Mrs. Ella Shelton of Granite City, Ill., Mrs. Bernice Rowden of Rolla, Mo. and Mrs. Georgia Dunn of Creve Coeur, Mo.; one brother, Ray Renfrow, of Shellsburg, Iowa; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 12 at the Stevinson Chapel in Iberia with Bro. Farris Wall officiating. Interment was in the Lawson Cemetery under the direction of the Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia, Mo. Pallbearers were Ralph Rowden, Lawton Dunn, Vernie Humphrey, Vasca Humphrey, Bill Cook and Tim Pendleton.
