-Of White Lake, formerly of Flint and Atlanta, Georgia, age 43, died Sunday, February 14, 1999 at the residence. Funeral service will be held at 10AM Wednesday, February 17, 1999 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Gary McInnis Officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #3087 Honor Guard. Visitation 4-7PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr Bowles was born in Flint, Michigan on October 21, 1955. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Mr Bowles was employed as a Tool and Die Maker in the Flint and Atlanta, Georgia area for over 20 years. Surviving are his fiancee' Brenda Pressley; children, Mark and Tammy Bowles of Sylva, North Carolina, Trisha Bowles and Scott Bowles, both of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, River and Pixie Bowles of Sylva, North Carolina; parents Bruce and Nina (Tootoe) Bowles of Grand Blanc; brothers and sisters, Sharon and John McKerring of San Diego, California, Mrs. Thomas P Bowles (Mary Ann) of Grand Blanc, Dennis B. and Norma Bowles of Flint, Victoria B. and Christopher S. Kelly of Flint Township, Peggy and John Zito of Grand Blanc; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas P. Bowles on February 9, 1999.
