Annie Clarke, a native of Demopolis, AL, born January 31, 1933, left her earthly home for her heavenly home on Sunday, October 5, 2008. Fondly known as Mrs. Annie, she worked at Mobile Infirmary for 42 years in the Oakhill Cafeteria and for the last 6 years as a people greeter for Walmart. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; Marion Elery Clarke. Left to cherish her precious memories, two devoted children; Adonis Clarke, and Lanier Clarke, three devoted sisters; Naomi Ross, Mt. Vernon, NY, Mildred Johnson and Ruth Watson, Chicago, IL, two sister-in-laws; Ulma Clarke and Corine Davis, one brother-in-law; Reginald Clarke, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel of Johnson-Allen Mortuary. Funeral at 11:00 a.m. with a minister to be announced. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Cemetery.
