∼Capt. Simon Adams was the son of Joseph and Miriam (Cleveland) Adams. Dinah (Spaulding) Adams was his 1st wife. She died August 1771 - scarcely a month after she gave birth to her twins, Aaron and Moses. Hannah (Taft) Adams was his 2nd wife. They were married in 1778 and she died May 1, 1833.
