David C. Skelton, 67, of 1247 Alvira Road, Allenwood, was reunited with the love of his life, Sunday, March 25, 2012.

Born Jan. 16, 1945, in Girard, he was a son of the late Gavin and Evelyn (Clark) Skelton. On July 15, 1967, he married the former Gail Barlow. She preceded him in death on Feb. 4, 2001, after 33 years of marriage.

He was a graduate of Rice Avenue Union High School in Girard. Following high school, David served briefly in the Air Force. He was employed by the former Woolworth, ACF Industries, Milton, and the former Grumman Industries, Montgomery. He retired from CATV, Danville, where he was an Advertising Sales Representative for 10 years.

David was of the Baptist faith.

A cowboy at heart, he was an avid Jeff Gordon fan and a fan of Pittsburgh sports. David was also an awesome Pop Pop to his grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Margaret Skelton of Allenwood and Robert and Jennifer Skelton of Watsontown; one brother, Jim Skelton of Girard; one sister, Paula Wells of Williamsport; and three granddaughters, Shelby, Courtney and Abigail Skelton.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one brother, Daniel Skelton.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Grenoble's, 121 S. Main St., Muncy. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Hill, minister at Elimsport United Methodist Church. Burial will be held privately in the Elimsport Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to either the American Heart Association, 1704 Warren Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701 or to National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034.
